Truck tire specs are spread across brand catalogs, one PDF per brand and one table per size. This page puts them in one search box. Type a size, a pattern or the text from a sidewall, and read the tread depth (OTD), load by pressure, position and service, each with the document and page it came from.
What this tool covers
The data comes from three manufacturer documents: the Hankook 2026 Truck & Bus Tire Catalog, the BFGoodrich 2023 data book and the 2026 Continental Truck Tire Data Guide. Each result names the document and the page. More brands will be added, and the list above will change with them.
Every tire is listed by pattern and size. Open one to see tread depth, load index, load range, speed rating, overall diameter, width, approved rims, product code and the load table by inflation pressure.
How to read a result
OTD (original tread depth). The tread depth of a new tire, shown in millimeters and in 32nds of an inch, for example 14.3 mm (18/32″). If a catalog prints only one unit, the other is converted and marked with ≈.
Load index (LI). Two numbers mean single and dual fitment. Under the standard load index table, 152/148 means 3,550 kg on a single tire and 3,150 kg in a dual pair. Some catalogs do not print the LI; the tool then shows “Not stated in catalog”.
Load range. A letter such as G or H that marks the strength class of the tire.
Load by pressure. The load per tire at each inflation pressure, for single and dual fitment. Move the slider to see how the load changes with pressure, and switch between kg/kPa and lbs/psi.
Position and service. Steer, drive, trailer or all-position, plus a service label such as long haul, regional or construction. The tool takes these from the catalog wording. Where the catalog does not say, the field stays empty.
How to search
- A full size: 11R22.5 or 295/75R22.5
- A partial size: 11R, 295/75 or R22.5
- A brand and size: hankook 11R22.5
- A pattern name: Conti Hybrid HD3 or DR444
- Text copied from a sidewall: 295/75R22.5 152/148M
Limits of this data
- The figures are reference data taken from manufacturer documents. Check the original catalog before ordering.
- Catalogs sometimes contradict themselves, for example inches that do not match millimeters. The tool marks these rows with a warning and does not correct them.
- Hankook prints loads in lbs and psi only. The kg and kPa values are converted and marked as converted.
- A size missing from the results means it is not in the documents entered so far, not that the tire does not exist.
- Availability differs by market. Check with your supplier.
- The tool reports catalog data. It does not rank brands or estimate cost per kilometer.
FAQ
What does OTD mean on a tire?
OTD is the original tread depth of a new tire. It is the starting point for measuring wear.
Is the load the same for single and dual fitment?
No. A tire in a dual pair carries less than the same tire fitted singly, which is why catalogs give two values.
Why does a result say “Not stated in catalog”?
The manufacturer document does not print that value. The tool leaves it empty instead of estimating it.
Which tires can I find here?
Hankook, BFGoodrich and Continental truck tires for now. More brands will follow.
